As Noah’s Children has grown over the years, so has its art collection. Local artists, writers and poets have contributed their own designs and creations, and ongoing school art programs have helped us pursue additional fundraising efforts.

Welcome to Noah's Children

Noah’s Children is Central Virginia's only pediatric hospice and palliative care program. We care for infants, children and adolescents with life-threatening illnesses, as well as their families. Our holistic program brings compassionate care by addressing physical, emotional, social, spiritual and practical needs. This allows the families to focus on making their child's time as rich and meaningful as possible.

Founded in 1997 by Dr. Archuleta, Noah’s Children’s has flourished with generous community support, sustaining a mission that provides complete care for body and spirit to families confronting the life-threatening illness of a child. Today, Noah’s Children is one of only a few programs of its kind in the country. It has been recognized and honored by the Richmond Academy of Medicine and the Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
